Syukur Alhamdulillah

I am 6 weeks pregnant :) My baby is still very small, at this stage my baby's heart is no bigger than a poppy seed but has now begun beating. I almost had a tear falling, after 1 year and a half waiting, finally me n my hubby get to experience the 1st moment listening to ur baby's heartbeating. It was a remarkable feeling.Syukur Alhamdulillah.

During the first trimester, I have to be extra careful. No more heels, no more eat everything i want, no more hoo haa..hehe..i spend most of the time talking to my baby, reading lots of academical books, reciting Quran and even put on my baby bump with earpiece of my digital quran, so that my baby can listen to Al Quran very much clearly.

I have started experiencing some very common signs of pregnancy but thank god no vomitting..oh yeah..no.. only once..i cant stand the smell of durian.i vomitted and i found it hard to believe..i was a hantu durian n now i cant even stand the smell..weird huh?

Another not so good sign is i experienced some spotting. I went straight to Ampang Putri ER and fortunately my gyne, Dato' Dr Ashar was still around. According to him, light bleeding or spotting during pregnancy - particularly during the first three months - is fairly common. But its always good to detect early. I was given an anti-abort injection + some other medications and a week mc. I need a lot of rest.

An advice from a fren really motivated me. She said i should take it as a challenge. Be positive and insyallah u'll go through this. Yeah, i know i can do this, Insyallah, God's willing everything will smooth sail until the day i become a mommy. Segalanya merupakan ketentuan Tuhan.Aku redha.

Passing of a true gem

IT USED to be a nagging half-an-hour ride on the ever-reliable Lambretta.

Today, it is still remembered as a melodious tune by former international and former FA of Malaysia general secretary Datuk Dell Akhbar Khan who lost his beloved brother Sadar Khan yesterday.Sadar, a former international and Selangor centreback, was 66.

“We used to go for training together and he would lecture me from the time I sat on his bike till we got home,” said Dell.“He was a tough brother both on and off the field. He used to always disturb me during our younger days and was a no-nonsense defender during our playing days.”

Dell stressed his brother was a tough last man and showed no mercy when taking on opponents.

“There was a match when I was playing with Police and he was with Selangor. I tackled (Datuk M.) Chandran and he was taken off the field. Substituting him was Sadar. He made my life difficult throughout the match and was constantly on my back. He showed no mercy, even though we were brothers.”

But the bond always remained, and it was the rivalry that pushed Dell to improve his game and become an international himself.

“He was the main reason why I made it to the national team. Sadar was my inspiration.”

Sadar played for Selangor in the 1960s and in the Merdeka Tournament winning team in 1968. Starting off as a school player, Sadar went on to play in every age-group tournament before donning national colours.Among his teammates then were Chow Kwai Lam, goalkeeper Chinna Karuppan and Chandran.Kwai Lam, too, remembered Sadar as a hard player.

“He was a quiet and soft-spoken man. Just don’t make him angry-lah,” said Kwai Lam, among the large number of former Selangor and national footballers, including Datuk Ghani Minhat, Mazlan Harun and Rahim Abdullah, who paid their last respects at Sadar’s residence in Taman Keramat yesterday.

“We won the 1968 Merdeka Cup after 14 years. Thirteen players in that squad were from Selangor.

“It’s very sad for me as I’ve lost two good friends (Foo Fook Chuan and Sadar) from the 1968 squad just months apart.” Fook Chuan suffered a heart attack and passed away in January.

Sadar complained of chest pains at about 2am yesterday and his family members took him to a nearby clinic. He took some medication and managed to get some sleep an hour later. Sadar usually joined a group of neighbours for their daily morning walks. When he didn’t get down to his daily routine, the family checked on him and discovered he had passed away.

Sadar leaves behind his wife Che Nah Shamsuddin, daughter Siti Sadarina, son Rashad and three grandchildren.

Yaddies bag is packed!

Hubby is leaving in less than 24 hours. Just done packing and thought of having a quick peek at my wonderland while Mr Yaddie is busy cleaning the aquarium.

Oh well...Yesterday was a day full of cooking..it was very very tiring. I cooked for my in laws too..u see cooking for 3 homes is not an easy job and for the record hubby was such a great assistant :) thank you darling. But today was even better...its all about washing the dirty laundry ;)

My pool skill is getting better. I beat my hubby twice in a row...macam tak percaya kan?i cant believe myself either.Hubby said it was all about luck...Excuse me~I dont think so!ahaks. I guessed having a pool table at home was not a bad idea after all!although i was very much disagree at the first place..hehe..poyos!

Next, me n hubby was thinking of getting a karaoke system...yg biasa2 jer la.. BMB is the best speaker for karaoke but dont think can afford it. Our plan for our entertainment room has been delayed for quite sometime. Reason no 1. LAZY! so mmg tak dapek nak nolonggg!There's too much stuff that needs to be packed and unpacked..and trust me, its gonna take a looong time.

Okay,hmm i wonder where my girls at?Haven't heard of them since yesterday...ok for now..wanna continue practising..bye

Too Many Things Too Little Time

I hate it when it comes Sunday sigh* but I'm glad hubby is OK now.Mr Yaddie has not been well lately.So was I. Ive experienced some unexplained chest pain recently.I did some google search and found numerous sites that was kinda frightening. The 1st link on chest pain gave me the result of this -

"In medicine, chest pain is a symptom of a number of serious conditions and is generally considered a medical emergency."

ahhh Takutt...I realized that my body has given me a signal of TAKE IT EASY IZA..yeah, i need a break.

Yesterday was another productive Saturday for me. I went to UKM Bangi with emak to send some stuff from Bandung to my sister Seela. Oo Yeah my mom has just got back from Bandung. Memang shopping sakan sampai exceeded the access baggage..ahaks.Now i know where i got my shopholic from..ahaks!It runs in the blood..hahaha...

At night pulak.. we had a partayyy...Naufal's 4th Birthday Party!! It was a blast off course and me really enjoy my sister in law's specialty home made Lasagna...the best lasagna ever! Let the picture do the talking..talk pic..talk!

Qimie's Hen Night: The Invitation is out!

Wow..its coming..its coming really fast. If u read my past entry that was posted on July 26, 2008 i wrote about how excited i was when my bestfriend's wanted me to host her special hen night and now OMG we have like less than a month to go. The theme is going to be Gothic Evil vs Angel. So whose gonna be the angel and whose the evil...hahaha..i bet u have a clue..we even have a head and an assistance of evil.....hahaha..So i have design and come out with a poster that looks very GOTHIC, wut do u think?ok tak?

To bride to be, no worries..everything is on track! We are about 80% ready and hopefully everything went well, insyaallah.

Happy Birthday My Baby Love!

On 2.2 My hubby turned 33....OMG my baby is 33 today.
Unlike past years, this year around we chose to have the celebration with our family at our home :) My darling hubby was pretty shock (happy shock off course) the moment he saw his bday cake. Yes!mission accomplished! Only god knows the trouble i have gone through just to get the big smile on his face. It was not so the trouble la..hehe..wut i did was i went to almost 6 bakeries to get the exact cake that i wanted and finally Secret Recipe managed to convince me. Surprisingly they even offered me a very reasonable price . So i chose Secret Receipe and yes i am very satisfied. The funny part was that I even received compliments from them..believe it or not they said that my cake was the coolest cake ever.Waaa..they hv got to be kidding..LOL! They even took some photos of my cake for sample..i should have be getting more discount right? But i was too happy that i dont even bother to ask..hehe..

Before the party started, the bday boy served tea to our honourable guest, none other than our beloved parentsss :) So here was the climax part, cake cutting and making wishes with all his beloved people around him. This is our family :)

I so envy my hubby...y?bcoz at the age of 33, look at the pressies he got..

I wrote a really really long bday wishes..dont ask what i wrote but wut i can share with u is that i even put my wish list for my coming bday in May..specifically on 6 May yeah everyone..hint*hint* ahaksafter opening pressies, here comes our compulsary activity, its KARAOKE time!! hehe..masuk coins..masuk coins..bak kata Kak Gurl the karaoke artis of the month :) Hey,what is my hubby doing in that tupperware? hehe...it means its time to pack and sayonara. Its a wrap. Everyone left with full stomach and big grin on their face and its time for me to basuh pinggan n kemas rumah.
